Haven't had surgery yet, so Im up for it! Already preparing!

I just finished making my 4th batch of fudge, 12lbs total. Tomorrow I'll make a Pecan Pie, and Strawberry Salad (its not a salad lol).

My big day of hosting will be on Christmas Eve. Gonna make a turkey, a ham, my homemade baked beans, my homemade Mac and cheese, biscuits, gravy, Grinch Punch, and since my sis ain't around Im gonna make her green beans cooked in chicken broth. My Son is bringing stuffing. The Strawberry Salad and Pecan Pie will be dessert, and the fudge will get passed out for folks to take home. Most fudge I've already gave out to friends.

I wound up having my surgery last week because someone bailed. Knee is swelled AF still and they bruised the fuck out of my leg. I think overall it will be much better when its healed since it doesnt pop like it did before.

It's just after 12 noon X-mas eve here. We will have some guests this afternoon and tomorrow is turkey day. Yes, you can buy a frozen turkey here if you look for them.

Yea, right leg inside. They trimmed off a flap, cleaned off some raggedness, and removed some arthritis behind the kneecap. Doc said it was pretty routine.

It looks like I have two large gauge needle holes dead center of the right side, then the bigger holes are to the left and right of the kneecap. 3 holes toward the inside, two on the outside. All have been stitched back together.

With a torn ligament, I bet you'll be down for a while. Ice and elevation will be your friends! They have me taking a baby aspirin for blood clot risk. No driving for 2 weeks.

The swelling is what gets to me now. If I dont prop it up every couple of hours, it swells.
