Something I should have mentioned. There's a common theme among most of the successful Western expats in Singapore--they don't want to live in their own countries again. They don't want to live in similar countries-Australia, NZ, Canada, US, UK, Western Europe. They don't want women from those countries because they don't want to live in those countries.

I can relate to that even tho my husband is a Canadian. Neither of us want to live in Canada ever again. Our plan is to renounce our Canadian citizenship when we become Singaporeans.

 Yeah and I hate that. I wish the right people stayed here in the US and fought for it with the rest of us who love our country.

Oh noooooooo, I live in the US lol.

I had to pay a $4000 deductible just to get into the surgery center. Then I had to pay up to $5000 max out of pocket. But that is from this year, last year's fees were $1250 from the start of the accident. I "think" my total to pay is $10,250. The rough cost of everything was around $50,000 that got billed to my insurance.

Oh my goodness......you paid twenty percent of your surgery bill.....is that typical in the USA?

its changed, man.... covid was the beginning of it and i believe trump will be the death of it.... i don't think the forum itself will go anytime soon.... but its not a fun place to be anymore.... i'm quietly withdrawing.... one or two posts a day is gonna be my limit....

lol.... thats actually a good question.... besides me, i think therre are 3 or 4 that have jobs.... the rest i highly doubt.... but the rest are ALSO communist/socialist so i don't think they're employed....

Eddie the Chug has never worked a day in his life and he is about one third of their posts. I doubt old Joe has ever held full time employment either. Same with Soon. Asal I hear is a troll handle of somebody who used to post here. Also unemployed.

If you want to go back a few pages in this thread you will see some posts about White folks who never experienced communism are it's cheerleaders. My folks defected from the Soviet Union in 1964. If they were alive they would give those starry eyed idiots an earful.

when i was young, i had friend whose parents/grandparents came from communism.... they all told the same horror stories.... i get sick looking at todays liberals....
