Its understandable. Most people dont want to risk their heart on someone who could be using them for the lifestyle they can provide. No woman wants to always be wondering if the man in bed next to her is there because he truly loves her or just wants the fincail benefits.

 Men seem more likely to take that gamble because men are providers by nature. I wouldnt want a wealthy man because of the cheating and the whoring they get up to.

 Im a very proud American. There is no other country in the world like the US. I love our states. Our history. Our patriotism. Our opportunities.

 If you fail in the US, its because you chose that. And i dont even mean you NEED to live any sort of high salary lifestyle. There are so many ways to live happily and freely here. Key part - freely.

 I remember someone telling me "people vote republican because they want to be rich".....I dont care about being rich. I care about being free. I care about American values and principles.

 I mean. Im sure people would have loved to vote out their authoritarian regimes in countries that were actually authoritarian. These assholes scream this as they assemble, and riot and will be able to vote. Imagine leaving our beautiful country to that scourge.

 Its ironic too coming from the party that is pro government expansion into our lives, pro disarming us. Anti our law enforcement.

 I love watching the videos of older Cubans and Venezuelans who come here and become citizens going into a grocery store for the first time and crying over chicken breasts, saying they've never seen so much food in their lives. They are just amazed and moved by it.   I never lived in communism or socialism....but I know that feeling of such overwhelming gratitude for such a simple thing that most people take for granted.

 We are here for people like THAT.  People who want to live in a free and prosperous country who are grateful for everything we have here. If Americans stop fighting for it and start bailing and it falls apart thats it. The Great Experiment is over and no more USA.

I am retired. But, the company I worked for, Canadian Pacific has American operations too.CP employees in the States don't have out of pocket expenses.

its been my experience that most insurance isn't very good.... too expensive to keep and too expensive to be useful.... i treat myself and most of my friends when possible and only go to the doctor with serious ailments or to treat our kids.... i can set and splint broken bones and clean and seal wounds (superglue and/or butterfly stiches) and dress burns.... i had my own covid ward during covid-palooza too.... i've never cared much for doctors anyway....

I never used my health coverage when I worked in Pennsylvania. I cannot say what it covered and what was out of pocket.
