Funny, it wasnt taxed the previous 20 years. Also, we pay for that "benefit". THOUSANDS per year. Seriously, we would be better off not having any insurance whatsoever. We could purchase a catastrophic plan and pay less. My wife is a worry wart tho.

We pay over $5000/year for it. The government values it at $40K so they tax us on that "value". Its fukin retarded.

Now that we're getting older, we use it more. My physical therapy for my knee takes 20-25 minutes per session and I pay $40 out of pocket. I see the value as being $100 per visit. I'm surprised the assholes dont charge us a usage tax too!

What really pisses me off is we could choose a plan that costs 1/2 or less per year. Pay $10 more co-pay per visit, and butt fuck the government out of their taxes. I'd do it in a heartbeat!

It changes every year. This year the maximum contribution to the base CPP for employers and employees in 2026 is $4,230.45.

If you are self-employed, the maximum contribution is $8,460.90. This is what I pay because I am a self employed farmer.

I plan to spend at least six months a year in Florida starting in three or four years. I will be purchasing health insurance.

Im a very proud American. There is no other country in the world like the US. I love our states. Our history. Our patriotism. Our opportunities.

 If you fail in the US, its because you chose that. And i dont even mean you NEED to live any sort of high salary lifestyle. There are so many ways to live happily and freely here. Key part - freely.

 I remember someone telling me "people vote republican because they want to be rich".....I dont care about being rich. I care about being free. I care about American values and principles.

 I love watching the videos of older Cubans and Venezuelans who come here and become citizens going into a grocery store for the first time and crying over chicken breasts, saying they've never seen so much food in their lives. They are just amazed and moved by it.   I never lived in communism or socialism....but I know that feeling of such overwhelming gratitude for such a simple thing that most people take for granted.

 We are here for people like THAT.  People who want to live in a free and prosperous country who are grateful for everything we have here. If Americans stop fighting for it and start bailing and it falls apart thats it. The Great Experiment is over and no more USA.

Just to change gears and go back to what you were talking about with hideous White guys paying for love here in SE Asia. One of the best trolls on these forumz was Gordy Gambino. He's from Perth, Western Australia(Caskur also lived there) and ugly as ugly gets. Short, fat bald, gross.

He was a successful small business owner. He went to Pattaya, Thailand(prostution central) for a few months and got married. As far as I know they're still together. Gordy is Mom's age and his wife is maybe seven or eight years younger. So, it wasn't like he was robbing the cradle.
