Was a grande weekend! Saw my Celtic friends perform on Friday. Saturday I started the day with whiskey for breakfast, caught the parade, was a HUGE turnout of folks as it got in the 60's. Then I got my Lucky Leprechaun burger, and a couple stouts. Walked around, made my way to the Celtic music, got a couple Guiness. Then made my way to a brewery for more Celtic music, and a couple more stouts. Was downtown for 11 hours lol. By then, the riff raff had made its way downtown, and I went home. Glad I did, even one friend of mine almost got into a fight. Sunday I practiced my fiddle with friends, then made some corned beef and cabbage, with baked taters, and watched Darby O' Gill and the Little People lol. Today Im gonna make a slaw with some purple cabbage, and make corned beef and cabbage tacos tonight lol.

A former Bloc Québécois MP around 8 a.m. Tuesday on suspicion of multiple counts of sexual assault.

Pascal-Pierre Paillé, 47, faces charges in connection with sexual assault, sexual contact with minors and sexual assault in a position of authority, according to a statement from police. The offences are alleged to have taken place in August 2024 and from January to June of 2006.

Paillé was elected as an MP in October 2008, representing Quebec City's Louis-Hébert riding. He lost the seat in the May 2011 election.

Paillé was to appear at the Quebec City courthouse on Tuesday, police said.
