That does look nice! I use to think about the S&W .38 special ultra light, still do lol, but the one you mentioned fires .357, which is the my favorite round in a pistol lol.

Surprisingly, full power 357's arent too bad out of it. I keep 38 home defense rounds in it mostly. The best thing about it is its beefy so 38sp is manageable for women, not that my wife would actually pull the trigger.

Also, and maybe just as important to me, the PRO version of the 640 does NOT have the "Hillary hole", the common name for the trigger lock S&W added to all their revolvers back in the 90's.

They are illegal to own or to have on you or in your vehicle?

A long time ago, they made it illegal to carry, or have in your vehicle..... unless you were going to a tournament or to karate practice. I can own them though, I have about 4-5 pairs lol.

My karate membership card got me out of a fine once lol.

I got one pair, that is collapsible. Breaks down into 3 sections per chuck. Easy to carry on the belt, and break out when needed. Our rights to bear arms shall not be infringed.
