Leo, this thread is about the issue in the OP.  You don't seem to have anything to add at all about that.

Quote from: "Bricktop"Gee, I'm so surprised to realise how many law enforcement experts we have in this forum....

You are the only expert on law enforcement here Bricktop..

My brother is a policeman, but I know little about the job.

"Law Enforcement" isn't exactly a difficult thing to understand, if one takes the time to do some reading.  Everything is available online now, from tactics, to case law, to Supreme Court rulings, etc.

Frood

Activist recorded footage and court appearances too.
Blahhhhhh...

Leo makes this job out to be something more than it actually is.  Both my parents were cops, and it's not like they have or know something "special" that many others cannot or do not...

Frood

Blahhhhhh...

Quote from: "Dinky Dianna"Things change with the decades too.

That is true, and not usually for the better!

Quote from: "iron horse jockey"The cops are generally alright. They can and do go overboard with tickets at times, but quotas are not their idea.

Ya, blame the municipality or the province for cherry picking for tickets.

Really?

Well, let's try some examples that any reasonably trained cop would know.

What are the rules of evidence and how are they applied?

What are the two key elements of a crime that must be proven for a conviction?

What powers does a police officer have to seize an exhibit?

Under what circumstances can a police officer enter a premises...any premises?

What is cross examination?

What is a prima facie case?

What are the rules of evidence as applied to spouses of the accused?

What is the evidentiary value of a dying deposition?

What are the priorities in attending the scene of an accident? What if someone is killed as a result of that accident?

What are the duties of a police officer if they are tasked to a house fire?

I don't think  he can answer any of these questions Bricktop, especially in his impaired  state.

Frood

Many of those questions depend on the nation. They vary.

Why not tell him the truth, that I was unable to answer due to you arbitrarily banning me.  Nonetheless, I could easily post Grade A answers to any of those questions with a few minutes spent on Google.  Would be pointless to do so, as Dinky had mentioned, there would be some differences depending on country.

Why is this sissy whining about his ban?
