Cops should have video (bodycams dash cams etc) of all encounters so people can see what happened.



Even with video though, sometimes it can be hard to decide what happened, and what to do about it

Those two cops are idiots.  Understand that the one shouting the Twister commands is not the same one that fired the shots.



Dealing with a drunk guy, and expecting him to play the game of Twister, doesn't end well.



Poor police tactics, and poor police practice and training.

I'm glad you pointed that out, I had not realized they were different people.  The shooter was a guy named Brailsford and he was tried and acquitted of mansalughter.  The guy barking orders is a Sgt Langley.  IMO as you say this Langley guy's inompetence and seeming joy in toying with people is what really caused this man's death.  He didnt pull the trigger, but he is the party responsible.
