Angry White Male

...according to BC Assessment.

This rate of growth is unreal, and not really sustainable.  Wages here are shit, with most employers refusing to pay much above minimum wage, yet living costs are the highest in Canada, and almost the highest in North America, even surpassing New York and San Francisco.

If you don't have money, stay away from Vancouver.  This place is only fit for the rich, rich Chinese, and immigrants that can pool their money by living 20 to a fucking household by cramming bunk beds in each fucking room.

All cities in Canada are shit.

There must still be some good cities left, at least for those that are perhaps ready to retire and don't need employment...

All cities over a half million have inflated house prices and big  spending NDP governments raising property taxes above the rate of inflation.

I wouldn't mind retiring to some small town, maybe on Vancouver Island.  I'll just have to make sure there's not too many Injuns around.

With so many taxes and high house prices, it's hard for first time buyers to get into the housing market in Canadian cities.
