Obviously slavery in America was terrible for most slaves.  But for their descendants aren't they better off?  Look at how blacks live in Africa versus the US,  they have it much better in the US.



there is one kind of reparations I would support.  A free one way plane ticket for anyone who thinks the US is a terrible country, to anywhere they want to go, provided they don't come back.

It's patriotic that people want to improve their nation. Bankrupting your nation's government and people with this asinine reparations fantasy is not patriotism.

Its certainly the opposite of Kennedy's great quote "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"
