The photo was taken in Mallaig, Scotland.



The train is The Jacobite.

That is a GWR 4900 series steam locomotive. It has a 4-6-0 wheel configuration. We used the 4-6-4 here during that era.

They have did better for themselves riding on trains than I have had operating freight trains.
