I still like Kieber's bike the most, and the one with red flames.

No, that is true.

Your chemicals are somewhat home grown...or at least in the backyard of a bikie's den.

Some of those motorcycles look like they would be very difficult to steer.

Nope, but keep imagining it as so if it helps you swallow yours.  ac_smile

They would be illegal to ride on our roads. Our modication rules are rather strict. Likewise in the UK.

Shame really, but as you've observed, those bikes are made for show, not go.

I have seen chopper style moterbikes around here. Maybe not as much as those though.

It is horrendously difficult to modify motor vehicles here. If the vehicle is modified outside the parameters of the original manufacturing specifications, it must be examined by a mechanical engineer to ensure that the modifications have not altered the overall dynamics of the vehicle, including steering, brakes and handling.

The only ones that get through are generally built by professional motor vehicle engineers or those with engineering qualifications.

Nanny state nonsense.

Bricktop

Absolutely. Vehicular modifications have never been a major cause of accidents...but in the past, some amateur hack jobs have cause grief, and so the government brings the hammer down. Now, ANY deviation from manufacturers standard equipment requires certification. And that is not easy to come by.

Outside of totalitarian regimes, Australia is probably the most regulated country on the planet.

And hasn't NZ streamlined a lot of their regulations making the country more efficient. That is what I have been lead to believe anyway.

Bricktop

No idea. Never been. I probably should...
