Or the time when you were so hungover and thought the germans came to liberate you.

Not much beyond 21..  I was engaged and young..

You were engaged at 21??? I will be forty six this year and I have never been married.

I was engaged at 19, married at 21, father at 21, divorced at 24, and back together with my wife in my late thirties and a father again, my daughter is 8 now...

And your wife is Australian?

I was married at twenty two and a mother at twenty three, twenty five, and twenty seven..

We've been married twenty years.

She is, and my bestest friend...

My husband is my best friend too.

 ac_smile

She saved me from dying from hypothermia about 12 years ago... I was in the middle of nowhere at 3 in the morning, shaking violently, and couldn't flag down any cabs... I was desperate and called her..and she drove an hour and 20 minutes to scoop me up and put her heater on blast...

Not the only nice or good thing she ever did....

I find that hard to follow..

You were in the middle nowhere, but there were cabs?

Following a Christmas break-up party, I found myself in the outer burbs in the early morn, and not dressed for the weather...

...so I kept walking and trying to flag down the odd cab... but none would stop. After a couple hours, I felt myself slipping into hypothermia, as it was about 2 degrees and seriously humid..

That is pretty good. Old Herman has a few after party stories myself

Yea... Remember that time when you and your uke friends came back from drinking and the germans had occupied the city of Stalingrad, your hometown?

Or the time when Stalin had stolen all the land and all you got was vodka?

Good times..

 ac_biggrin

Volgograd is in Southern Russia. Stalin was the devil.

Germany occupied all of Ukraine. The pricks didn't even dissolve the collectivized farms.

Nope. Rented it for 4 nights. Our house in Galveston has not been rebuilt yet. Hopefully start next year.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone
