New born baby bobwhite quail just hatched last friday night, the little guy just sleeps all day on the palm of my hand.

I knew you'll like it  ac_cool , when I feel depress, I just pick them up and they seem to infuse me with positive energy, best little buddies to have around with, lol.

They are not pets I would want. However, I can tell you enjoy raising them as a pastime.


I sure do, having pet birds helped solved half of my struggles due my mental disability/disorder, I treat them like my own children, while my wife is the PC.

Naw, though my dad wants me to sell them since the birds does create a lot of dust and feathers on the upper floor, but then I want to keep them all, lol.  



I might sell a few if they're worth something, but most of the baby birds on the market, especially quails and pigeons aren't worth much since they're quite easy to breed, usually baby button quails sells for $5 for one hatchling, and 1$ for a fertilized bobwhite quail egg.  If you're interested they usually have them on sale quite often on Kijiji.  ac_cool

No doubt, instead of selling them, I want to buy more baby quails to keep, and my family will kill me again, lol.
