Got that from me obviously, her mother's not dumb, but she's mentally lazy.



Actually my kid has my looks, the intelectual side of my personality, but thanks heavens she didn't get my temper



I also suspect she's gonna have the same spiritual awakenings I had. Almost 16 and she dreads sleeping alone in the house, she also got that from me.

Aha! I was looking for this thread earlier and missed it somehow.

After I post this if I can't delete the one in the other (selfies?) thread I'd appreciate it if The Powers That Be could assist with that.



A pale-colored praying mantis I saw earlier today; they've always been green before.

I don't know if young mantises (it was rather small) are naturally this color or it's some kind of albino or what, but I had to take a pic:

An advantage to physical books (beside being physical) is that you own them and don't merely have access to them.  No electricity or app
