Really nice, and like the 3D feel to it.  ac_drinks

This is near my house. I wanna go on this cruise just to go on that slide

Where does it go to?

Erica Mena

From here in LA, it goes to Mexico, Canada and I believe Alaska.

This is probably the biggest cruise ship I've ever seen, maybe not the most luxury one but still nice and really grand.

Bricktop

The thought of spending even a day on one of those floating tourist traps nauseates me.

Although, to be honest, I've travelled across the world by ship...and 6 weeks confined with the same people for that length of time cured me of any "Cruise ship" desires forever. Not so much "Bliss" as "Despair".

I have never seen a cruise ship up close.

Just book a week in a Hilton or Westin. But you're not allowed to leave.

You'll get the idea.

You did a cruise?

Bricktop

Not so much a "cruise" as a voyage across the world. It was the only way to get to Australia in those days.

6 weeks.

It cured me of any inclination to go sailing the ocean blue ever again.

These big cruise ships here in North America have lots to do. Swimming, food, beer, shopping, theatre, dancing, live shows, casino, arcade.
Time is malleable

Bricktop

Which, of course, you can do on dry land without paying thousands to ride on a ship, and without being confined with thousands of revellers, drunks, gruesomely gregarious friendship seekers ("here's my email address...let's be friends and visit each other") and the odd drug dealer.

No way.

Vancouver

I guess you're right. I can just stay at a local hotel and do the same activities and pretend to be on holiday.

Surely if you live in one of the most picturesque countries on Earth there are MANY places you can visit.

Especially with your photographic skills. Hell, I'd never be home if I lived in Canadaland.

I remember going on one when I was a kid with my family and a few other friends, the coolest thing was the casino but unfortunately the security guards nicely told me children can't play there, then I sneaked by in again and finally bumped into another security guard.
