Vancouver

Here in Vancouver we made history. $40+ to fill the tank on a mini work Toyota Yaris this morning. $60+ for my compact Honda SUV.

You left coasters keep resisting Canadian energy over foreign shit and you will be spending a lot more than that.

Gosh that's expensive.

It's  $122.9 here and I think that's outrageous.

I'm not resisting.

The loud minority here is (Injuns and a few brainwashed idiotic White wanna-be hippies).

The majority here are good with the pipeline.  As is always though, the loud vocal minority is the squeaky wheel that gets all the grease.

I read that support for the Transmountain extension is fifty five per cent in BC with thirty seven per cent disapproving.

Maybe you could fashion a windsail on a skateboard and save on gas? Perhaps you could catch 100 rats and make harnesses and have then pull you in a red wagon? Or my favorite is you could find a flying dragon, offer a princess  sacrifice and ride said so dragon to work. Just imagine the looks you would get from your coworkers.

Or just take a bus.

Buses hurt the environment and because of the spike in gas prices, it's now probably 49.99 to ride the bus to work. I also would suggest purchasing a camel that runs fast, plus they have that hump thing on their back, so they won't get easily dehydrated.

Lots of camels on the streets would cause a lot greater environmental problems I would think.

You think so? I do vaguely remember in the Middle East and in Africa that camels are used as livestock in crowded markets on a daily basis, and both those continents didn't fall into the ocean or get sucked up in a pollution tornado. Plus, I think their carbon footprint would be smaller in the long run.
