I will explain why this is...

Junkies.  They go into the shitter to cook up, shoot up, and often times either pass out or they just simply die in there.

When they pass out and die, the restaurant gets cleared out and shut down, until the corpse is removed and declared an overdose.

Obviously this is bad for business, having dead people in your shitter.  Bad for good customers also, seeing dead people in your shitter.

There's a reason why businesses would want to curtail this...

At the Scott Road McDonald's here, which does require a "buzz in," I found a used needle on the floor.  I let the manager know.

I have NEVER been denied access to a washroom, when I ask to use it.  It doesn't matter if I buy anything or not.

I am not a Junkie.

The reason is simple...  To keep the junkies from cooking, shooting, and dying in the shitter, when there are regular customers that just want to take a piss, wash their hands, and leave.

Why not just shoot in an alley or a tent city?  Why a Mcdicks or a Timmies?

They have access to clean water from the tap or the toilet.

They have light to see what they're doing.

They also have an added safeguard built in, where if they OD, it'll probably not be long until they're discovered...

Toilet water, as long as it's been flushed, is no different than what you'd drink from the tap.

Did you think it comes from a different pipe or something?

You flush a toilet, it's the same water filling it that you get in your kitchen tap...

How many people have pissed n shit in There thru the day...what if there is a poo smudge?

Angry White Male

I would doubt that after a fresh flush much could contaminate the water quickly...  Very few pathogens have the ability to contaminate water quickly, like right after a flush.

I used to be a waitress in a Chinese restaurant..

The owners strictly enforced the washrooms for customers only policy.

BTW starbucks has not only opened its bathrooms to anyone who wants to use them for any reason.  They have also said that you do not have to purchase anything to sit in their restaurant seating area, or their outside patio area.  Now homeless people, and wild teenagers can sit in their restaurants all day long scaring away customers. :001_rolleyes:   And it was all done for the sake of political correctness cowardice.  Oh well, if it ruins them, then so be it.
