Have never been impressed with the fixed blade Buck knives. The steel struggles to keep a good edge.

With steel, it is always a trade-off...  Too hard, and it's brittle.  Too soft, and the edge doesn't hold!



Luckily I have a Chef's Choice electric blade sharpener, which keeps all my blades sharp with ease!
