I remember I posted on an article about white privilege a while back .  I asked how does a white homeless paraplegic guy have it better than LeBron James, black NBA millionaire, the progtard I asked  actually said the white homeless guy could get a cab , whereas LeBron james probably couldn't.  I kid you not.  These people are morons.

It is time to turn that microscope on the audacity of white men who judge her. Essentially, 99.9% of Serena's white male critics fall in one of two categories: "How Dare You!" or "Where Were You?"



"How Dare You!" critics are peak-level white male audacity the likes of Trump supporters, Australians who defend racist cartoonists, and tennis umpires who threaten to boycott Serena's matches. How DARE you!



"Where Were You?" critics are the audacity of white silence by men who center Serena's behavior, but are quiet as a mouse when far worse antics are perpetrated by players who look like them. All you can say is "Where were you when..."



Now let's get to the six categories of White Male Audacity.

TRUMP VOTERS (63 percent of White Male Voters)

Trump voters lecturing people on bedside manner is like John McEnroe offering Serena advice on dealing with umps. Sadly, both of these things have happened.



The POTUS is the most influential person in America, and 63 percent of white male voters drew a line in the sand on November 9, 2016. On that day, they chose the most boorish, rude, vulgar, obnoxious, objectionable, crude, combative, cantankerous Twitter-trolling President imaginable as a role model to help raise their children, and represent America across this globe.



Since that day, the rest of us have cringed every single day in shame and embarrassment.



Were these Trumpers hoodwinked? No. A recent poll showed a whopping 83 percent of Republicans approve of his handling of race issues.



Translation: Most Trumpers don't just agree with Ramos – they want to be Ramos.



But they have disqualified themselves from any discussion on appropriate etiquette – by pretty much anyone.



And they have the audacity to think they are qualified to weigh in on how a black woman comports herself?



They are 25,000,000th ranked seed in U.S. Open Debate. They don't get to play.



How do you engage with a Trump voter on Serena? You don't. You ignore them.

AUSTRALIAN AUDACITY (except those who honor Peter Norman).

After seeing the ridiculously racist cartoon of Serena by Mark Knight of the Herald Sun, I reflexively tweeted it out and called for Knight's firing. And as if his depiction of Serena wasn't racist enough, Knight went even further to morph Osaka, a half-Haitian, half Japanese woman, into a petite white version of Anna Kournikova.



What I wasn't expecting was the avalanche of tweets from Australia defending Knight against racism or sexism while adding "explain it to me" for a cartoon that was so damn self-explanatory.



"Explain it to me" is the same faux request put forth by many defenders of Trump's own racism and sexism. Like the cartoon, if Trump hasn't already convinced you himself, there is little to discuss. Over 90% of "explain-the-racism-to-me" folks are unteachable trolls disguised as knowledge-seekers.



No matter how meticulous lengthy, or contextual the explanation, they will cite absurd false equivalencies.



For any genuine inquiries, Clare Coubold, Associate Professor at Deakin University in Melbourne explains that "the cartoon draws on at least 200 years of racist and sexist caricaturing of African and African-descended women." In "Why the Serena Cartoon was Racist, Sexist Trash, Explained", the Root's Michael Harriot is more direct.



Alana Lentin, Associate Professor at Western Sydney University calls Australia, "a deeply racist country" whose "white-dominated press lacks the racial literacy to see racism and to challenge racists."



Basically, like America, but even worse.



Australian NBA player Ben Simmons strongly condemned the cartoon, and his words come in the tradition of Australia's great athlete-activist Peter Norman — the white silver medalist who stood in solidarity with Tommie Smith and John Carlos at the 1968 Olympics, but was ostracized in his home country until his death in 2006.



If a country can't embrace its very own greatest white male humanitarian athlete for nearly 40 years while he is still alive, how can the white men of Australia collectively assess Serena Williams?



Like Trumpers, they can't. Ignore them.

This is not the first time we've been down this path. There was a similar situation in the sixties and seventies, when if could be argued it was much worse, when domestic leftist groups adapted terrorism to push their perverted doctrines.



Italy had the Brigate Rosse.



Germany had the Baader-Meinhof group.



The UK had the IRA.



The US had the Symbian Liberation Army.



The PLO was active throughout the middle east and Europe.



These were violent, highly organised and equipped (courtesy of a very generous Soviet Union) leftist extremist groups that used terror within their own countries. Smaller countries, like Australia, were also attacked from within by socialist extremists, but to a lesser degree.



We are a long way from those days. I'm not saying it won't happen, but we've been here before, and we beat them down then.
