Of course it would be someone like that who doesn't have an eye on the seat after this term ends.

Mama Bear has been slavering to slide Adam Schiff-for-brains into that seat for a long time and if they'd seated someone who would take the opportunity to run as a de-facto incumbent it would have given Mama Bear some heartburn.

So in order to placate one of the most corrupt people in our entire government they gave the seat to someone who isn't even interested in legislating... because actually *doing* governance means fuckall compared to their slimy political games that only benefit themselves.
