Apparently all true native born Londoners refugeed to the country to get away from the immigrants.

Quote from: Oerdin on October 06, 2023, 03:09:31 PMThe woke BBC makes a list of 8 greatest black people in British history.  The problem?  Most of them were not black nor did they have any sub-saharan African ancestors.  Hell, the leftists openly just lie to push their agenda.

I think there was always blacks in the UK but hardly any.

I know this from reading Wuthering Heights. Heathcliff was dark like a gypsy.

Wuthering Heights? I remember Mr Floppy did a song about that...

Her fucking fupa looked like a pair of ass cheeks... like someone naked ran into her head first and got stuck. She was like "come eat me out" and I was like "nah I think I'll go snort some anthrax and light myself on fire instead"

The Dems have become a scary despotic organization.

Former President Donald Trump warned that the shocking and brutal attack by Hamas terrorists on Israeli civilians over the weekend has the makings of World War III.

In speaking to a massive crowd today in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, President Trump drew ties between the Biden administration's flooding of young male, military-aged unvetted immigrants into the country and the Pearl Harbor style-attack by Hamas.

He referred to the immigrants as "some of the same people who just attacked Israel" and said that under Biden's open border policy, the United States has allowed "tens and thousands of terrorists into our country."

It's this kind of over the top rhetoric that turns me off about American politics.

U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan has given former President Donald Trump and his lawyers a small, but crucial victory.

The judge agreed to allow additional time for Trump's team to file motions in the federal election obstruction case approaching his trial in the spring of 2024.

Chutkan has given an extension of two weeks to Trump and his team.

Chutkan was assigned to the January 6 case, which has been widely condemned as a politically motivated witch hunt against Trump.

Known as a far-left judge, former President Barack Obama appointed both Chutkan and her husband, Peter Krauthamer, to highly sought-after judgeships in Washington, DC.

A closer look into Chutkan's background reveals that she has deep family ties to some of the "most influential" Marxists in Jamaica.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) won a vote among Republicans in the chamber on Oct. 11 to be the party's nominee for speaker after last week's ouster from that role of fellow Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).

Mr. Scalise, who defeated Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) in a 113–98 vote, is expected to face Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) in an election by the full House. It's unclear when that vote will be held.

With 217 votes needed, there's no guarantee that Mr. Scalise will be successful on the first ballot in the House—or at all. Some supporters of Mr. Jordan have vowed to keep fighting for his election, threatening a repeat of the drawn-out contest in January, in which Mr. McCarthy (R-Calif.) was elected after a contentious battle among Republicans lasting four days.

Jordan has actively subverted our ability to pass legislation to stop Big Tech from rigging our elections for Democrats. He stopped Section 230 reform. He blocked antitrust. And he's offered no solutions of his own.

Jordan does all of this while holding up the "limited government" banner — if Facebook and X want to censor political speech or even news stories, they can try, but conservatives should disagree. Maintaining the integrity of our elections is everything.

But apparently, Jordan believes that tyranny is acceptable as long as it is passed and approved by corporate shareholders. The 2020 election was rigged, yes, but not just by mail-in ballots or late-night ballot dumps. It was rigged by Big Tech blocking voters from accessing information.

Fewer than 50,000 votes decided the 2020 election in three swing states. Do you think it wasn't a big deal that Big Tech colluded with the FBI to keep the Hunter Biden laptop story from going anywhere? They silenced the New York Post.

That story was deadly to Biden's campaign. Biden's son used his father's official office to enrich their family while smoking crack with hookers. In normal America, that story might have shifted not just 50,000 votes, but millions of votes. Big Tech stopped it, and that made the difference.

Republican voters were understandably furious. But when it came time to check Big Tech's power and influence over our elections, Jordan wasn't just AWOL — he was actively fighting against it. He was fighting to protect Google, for crying out loud!

We want the GOP to protect the American people from multinational corporations, NGOs, and billionaires like George Soros, who want to thwart our ability to choose our representatives. Without a doubt, Big Tech and its allies have already proven to be a threat to our rights.

But Jordan did nothing. Remember Section 230 reform? Jordan killed it.

Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act protects social media sites from libel suits, treating them as platforms rather than as traditional publishers. A few years back, Jordan constantly went on TV to talk about getting Section 230 reform done. He oversaw a task force and told us everyone would get behind it. Nothing happened. Once Elon bought Twitter, Jordan abandoned any pretense of reform, and the issue was shelved.

Jordan will tell you he introduced a Section 230 reform bill — this is true, but Big Tech lobbyists almost certainly wrote it. The bill had no enforcement mechanism and would have failed entirely to prevent censorship of conservatives.

Even worse, he never put his weight behind it — no effort to get the bill out of committee. Meanwhile, Jordan was actively killing other conservatives' Section 230 bills behind the scenes. We know this to be true for one of them because my organization helped write it.

That is disturbing. But, it does not have the same consequences for Americans as being a lap dog for big tech.

Perhaps, but being a lapdog for big tech hardly sets him apart from his legislative colleagues though, either.

Hell, you can't swing a MacbookPro in congress without swatting two or three lapdogs for big tech.

It is Jordan's hypocrisy though Garraty. He feigns agreeing with Senator Rand Paul on the issue of big tech privilege, but his actions suggest he wants to maintain big tech privilege and power as much as the DNC does.

Oh I whole-heartedly agree that hypocrisy is a major problem throughout our government; it's essentially the foundation our system was built on.

If I wasn't before I'm definitely on *all* the lists now.

I was only gonna pop into Twitter for a moment but just my luck... the first thing I see is a Tweet from the IDF saying "you either stand with israel or stand with terrorism" and I knee-jerk responded:

"Fuck israel and the war crimes it was built on."

Directly to the IDF Twitter account.

*sigh*

Oh well. What's done is done.
I never wanted to be a politician in 'Murica anyway so to hell with 'em.

US federal debt has exploded to $33trillion for the first time in the country's history, igniting fears the world's largest economy is about to plunge into recession.

During the last five years, the US has added $11.5trillion in debt and is on course for $1trillion in annual interest expense. This follows the debt ceiling crisis that occurred in June.

The recent chaos engulfing the House of Representatives means there are just four weeks for Republicans and Democrats to agree on a new government funding bill. Failure to do so would lead to a government shutdown that would have disastrous consequences for millions of federal workers.

The surging US federal debt is only a problem if markets lose faith in the political checks and balances that keep the US financial system ticking over.

The US isn't unique in its debt problems and does have the benefit of being the reserve currency of the world.

Where to make spending cuts is a big problem as the largest chunk of federal debt, and the largest part of Government spending is social security.
