They announced it, took a bow, and moved on.

But let's take a look at what actually replaced it:

- The hard sales targets are gone, but the new emissions rules are so strict that gas-powered cars can barely qualify, even brand new ones.
- The $1.5 billion, in taxpayer dollars mind you, for EV infrastructure is still there.
- The push toward 75-90% EV sales by 2035-2040 is still there

The mandate was repealed in name. In practice, very little changed.

I'm soooo glad I pulled the pin on Canada. That country is suicidal.

Canada has world-class resources, abundant energy, an educated workforce, and privileged access to the largest consumer market in the world. A country with those advantages should be experiencing strong productivity growth, rising wages, and increasing prosperity.
Instead, productivity has stagnated for years.

Imagine electing a Global Banker, Economist and Crisis Manager, and you end up in a recession.
Welcome to Canada. Elbows up!

Conman Carney spent the past year trying to entrench his own power instead of building things.
Canadians are suffering the consequences.

Too many in Canada are sleeping on the fact that we're holding ourselves back more than we know. There are so many barriers to trade, and so much red tape of our own making. Let's ditch the red tape and become that energy superpower.

You'd think if he did a "great job" then we would see some progress.

But after a year since Carney first met with Trump, he's made ZERO progress on Canada-US relations. And no deal like he promised during the 2025 election.
