en. John Fetterman is reportedly open to considering H.R. 2, an immigration bill championed by House Republicans.

The Pennsylvania Democrat, who is increasingly proving to be a thorn in the side of Democrats, supports "most" of H.R. 2, Fox News correspondent Chad Pergram reported on Thursday.

But what Fetterman doesn't support is altering the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, otherwise known as DACA.

"I analyzed it closely," Fetterman said of the bill. "And the the one thing that I cannot support is that it effectively ends DACA at all. But anything other than that, that all can be on the table for me.

I don't go there more then once every few years but it is a good example of how Democrats are corrupt and their claims about needing new laws to "improve things" are for sale.

Portland has decided to reimpose at least some criminal penalties after completely decriminalizing drug abuse q few years back.  Decriminization has been a complete and total failure and even wildly leftist Portland has had to admit that.

Federal Judge Allows Pro-Trump Briefs in Classified Documents Case
The judge in the classified documents case handed the former president a victory this week.

The federal judge overseeing the Trump classified documents case on Wednesday allowed third-party legal groups to submit friend of the court briefs that could benefit former President Donald Trump.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon issued a paperless order that allows former Trump adviser Stephen Miller's America First Legal Foundation to file a brief in the case. She also allowed a submission from former Republican Attorney General Edwin Meese, who argued that special counsel Jack Smith, who is prosecuting the case, was unconstitutionally appointed by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The filings may influence the overall outcome of the prosecution against President Trump, who is accused of illegally retaining classified documents after he left the White House and faces 40 charges. He has pleaded not guilty.

170 Democrats voted against the Lakan Riley Act. Shame on them.

The bill requires federal authorities to detain illegal immigrants arrested for or charged with "any burglary, theft, larceny, or shoplifting offense." If the federal government doesn't comply with the detention requirements, the bill empowers states to sue the federal government. Importantly, the legislation also condemns Biden's "open-borders policies" and places responsibility for Riley's death at the president's feet because of his policies.

It's not clear whether such a law would have prevented Riley's death, but the Venezuelan immigrant charged for murdering her, Jose Ibarra, was arrested for shoplifting last year.
