Anyone who owns a house knows homeowners insurance rates have been skyrocketing in recent years but now it is nationwide and it is hitting the reinsurance market hard with 50% price increases.  Reinsurance is how I surance companies further spread risk by getting secondary insurance plans for themselves.  It started with natural disasters in certain states, spread by riots in 2020 (Remember the leftist rioters claiming "don't worry I surance will pay for it"), and now it is the massive crime wave especially in blue cities as due to their soft on crime policies.

The Democrats want Clarence Thomas to recuse himself if Trump's Colorado and Maine cases make it to the Supreme Court. The excuse they use is that Thomas' wife is a Trumo supporter.
