I think a similar term for the "sources" you use is urban legend. Not exactly the same, but to quote a poster here, bubblegum for the brain.

Quote from: Garraty_47 on July 24, 2024, 10:27:34 AMJoe and I don't, that I recall, have a previous history of interactions. Unless my memory has started to slip this forum is the first time we've danced.

It's possible I'll tire of it sooner or later, especially if I have to begin repeating myself.

For now though... /shrug
I would be willing to make a substantial wager that you definitely WILL tire of his attention starved nonsense. And sooner rather, not later.
Quote from: Biggie Smiles on July 24, 2024, 10:19:48 AMThese people are sick in the head

Crazy how they always accuse the otherside of political violence. When they are the biggest proponents

Good news is, the scum bag offed himself
But, Trump is a threat to democracy. The Dems accept no responsibility for their own words and violent actions which are an actual threat to democracy. Vote for anyone other than a Dem and die.

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) filed articles of impeachment against Vice President Harris on Tuesday, as Republicans ramp up attacks while she launches a presidential campaign.

The filing expands on previously introduced articles that target Harris's record on immigration, a GOP rallying cry against the vice president.

He added a second article in the new filing, which claims Harris covered up President Biden's mental well-being, constituting a "breach of public trust." While Biden ended his reelection campaign Monday, he has maintained that he will finish his term and is in good health.

"Kamala Devi Harris has knowingly misled the people of the United States and the Congress of the United States, principally to obfuscate the physical and cognitive well-being of the President of the United States, Joe Biden," the filing reads.

The initial articles, filed June 12, 2023, claim Harris has "demonstrated extraordinary incompetence in the execution of her duties and responsibilities, a stark refusal to uphold the existing immigration laws, and a palpable indifference to people of the United States suffering as a result of the ongoing southern border crisis in the United States."
An 80-year-old man living in a small city in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is in the hospital with serious injuries after an ATV driver apparently ran him over as he put up a sign in his front yard to show his support for the candidacy of former President Donald Trump.

On Sunday afternoon, an unidentified 80-year-old man was attempting to put Trump signs back up in the front yard of his home along the 1400 block of Anthony Street after the ATV driver suspected in the vandalism incidents allegedly pulled the signs down. Around 5:45 p.m., while the man was still working on the signs, the ATV driver allegedly returned to the home and struck the man with his vehicle.

The victim was rushed to UP Health System hospital in Portage, where he remains in critical condition. Reports say he may have suffered a "brain bleed."

The police believe the incident was politically motivated. The 22 year old suspect died from a self inflicted gunshit wound.
Quote from: Garraty_47 on July 24, 2024, 08:50:29 AMUtterly ridiculous.

People didn't vote for Hillary because she's an atrocious person and even worse candidate for public office.

What *WOULD* be strange (and disturbing) is people voting for someone merely because of gender and generational similarity between candidate and voter. Is that what you think should be the norm? Are you a proponent of voting based entirely on identity instead of competency?

Because it looks like that's your position.
I know it's none of my business, but I don't know why you still humour Joe's desperate cries for attention.

Quote from: Oerdin on July 24, 2024, 08:14:58 AMI have to admit that as parting fuck yous go...  Forcing Kamala on them in return for pushing him out was a good one.  Remember Joe had Kamala as his V.P. because he wanted a terrible person to discourage anyone from replacing him.
If that is the plan, I agree.

Harris is a very weak candidate. The 2020 primaries proved that.

But, Biden was a weak candidate too. The Dem money and media controll machine got him elected. They could do the same with Harris.

The Washington Examiner is the furthest thing from the Dem connected liberal media estblishment.

Your meme about Putin was false. Get over it. Memes are almost always false, or at the very least misleading. That is why it is lazy minded people like Admin who rely on them.

Memes make people stupid. Or are people who believe memes alreasdy stupid. It's a chicken and egg thing.
This went well beyond lying, which all politicians do as you pointed out.

We could see Biden's cognitive decline even before he was given the party nomination by Dem mega donors. The nothing to see here, it's all GOP lies was an insult to the collective intellignece of Americans and shows just how little respect the party has for the average citizen.

A YouGov poll of 1,582 U.S. adult citizens conducted between July 13 and 16 found 39 percent of respondents would vote for Harris if she was the 2024 Democratic presidential candidate, against 44 percent for Trump. This put Harris slightly behind Biden, who the survey found would lose to Trump by 41 percent of the vote against 43 percent.

Ipsos polled 992 registered voters across the U.S. on July 16 for Reuters. The survey placed Trump ahead of Biden in a presidential matchup by 43 percent of the vote against 41 percent. However, once Harris was subbed in as the candidate she tied with Trump on 44 percent.

Between July 2 and 4, 1,000 registered voters were polled for Politico by Bendixen & Amandi International. The survey found Harris one point ahead of Trump in a presidential matchup with 42 percent of the vote against 41 percent, while Biden was one point behind on 42 percent against 43 percent.

A CNN poll of 1,045 registered voters, conducted by SSRS between June 28 and 30, found Trump ahead of Biden nationwide with 49 percent of the vote against 43 percent. Trump also polled ahead of Harris but by a smaller margin, with the backing of 47 percent of registered voters against 45 percent.

This is from Business Insider, so take it with a grain of salt. Besides, I doubt there were many plumber is Indiana donating when they found out Harris will likely replace Biden. They were donatiing to Trump after his politically motivated convictions.

After Donald Trump's conviction, the former president's campaign said it raised $52.8M in 24 hours.
Democrats zoomed past those numbers in about half a day after Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
ActBlue, the Democrat's fundraising platform, raised well over $53 million since the announcement.

or further comparison, Trump's campaign took six months in 2023 to raise $58 million, federal records viewed by The New York Times showed.

ActBlue is also on track to surpass that record in less than 24 hours.
