Looking at it, it might be from the 70's or 80's.

Quote from: Oliver the Second on May 01, 2024, 07:23:00 PMBourbon is a whiskey so this poast is allowed. I hope.

Anyway my grandpa gave me this bottle of Jim Beam way back when so it could be anywhere from 20 to 30 years old. How long does it stay good for? I'm wondering if I should drink it down before it goes bad or if I should store it longer until it's the best time.

I've drank Whiskey that was way over a decade old. As long as the cap isnt left off for a long time, I think it will last forever or until the cork rots.

When you decide to crack it open, you should drink/compare a brand new bottle for the hell of it.

Personally, I hate Jim Beam. I call it "rot gut" because it acts like poison once it hits my stomach. Some people love it tho.

Quote from: Moonie on Today at 07:24:29 PMI can't argue the Old Testament and God and how he carried out the prophets.  He did what he did so he could point to most important thing his son Jesus.

Jesus is the new covenant with Christianity.  He's missing in Israel.  So the Christian PALESTINIANS consider the New Testament holy ground.

They want their holy ground protected from hate just like the Jews do.  Sadly they are the minority and the Jews are treating them just like the rest. Fact.

Simply put, there is NOTHING Jesus did to negate ownership of the land or the promises associated with it.

In a few weeks it will be the 20th anniversary of my grandpa's passing. I think that just might be the appropriate occasion to open it and have a few toasts.

Quote from: Frood on Today at 02:09:53 AMJoe's ideas of left and right are highly skewed.

He's a product of sub room temperature parental IQ's,, fetal alcohol syndrome, lead paint chip poisoning as a tot, the MMR jab, and the incel nature of his 60 years as an adult on the earth.

I have nothing but admiration for T ...

He's adopted one of perhaps biggest window lickers (obviously Seaboobs and Admong take 1st and 2nd place).
I know Jo Jo doesn't understand that we have no political spectrum in Canada, but by golly he makes up for his political ignorance in the sack.
