...which is a beautiful thing.



My neighbour phoned me tonight, asking me to keep a lookout for her escaped cat...  Sadly, the cat is most likely dinner for another animal around here, but I'll look.



Places like this still do exist, it seems...  Every single person around here is white, friendly, willing to help their neighbours, and there is absolutely no crime at all...



There is no police presence anywhere around here (I will state that you could not wear your seatbelt around here with confidence, and not get hassled)...



People look after one another on their own, as best they can it seems.



No junkies, no homeless tents/camps.

Understand that I am not against this, as prohibition of weed works just as well as prohibition of alcohol did.  I know many people that toke on a regular basis.



That being said, am I an oddity in the fact that I don't necessarily like the effects of cannabis?  Many seem to achieve a 'chill and relaxed' mindset under the influence...



I wish I could say the same for myself.  I actually achieve an opposite effect, becoming even more focused on my problems, self-doubt, and it generally raises my anxiety level big time.



Hence why I rarely smoke, if at all.  



I wonder why this is?  It must be something in the brain no doubt, but I wonder why there would be such a night and day difference between users?



Perhaps the same reason why Ritalin 'speeds up' most, but will do the opposite with a true Hyperactive kid?

My stepfather once told me (was RCMP) that one of the best outcomes in a murder case is when one piece of shit kills another piece of shit, with the alive piece of shit subsequently getting to spend the better part, if not all, of the rest of their lives behind bars.  Almost like killing two birds with one stone, in a way.

For those that don't know, British Columbia has a publicly run auto insurance system (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia), and it's mandatory to get basic auto insurance through them.



They are also going broke.  Here in BC, a common term is "Winning the ICBC Lotto."  It is part of the reason ICBC is going broke.



Now, obviously ICBC would not like to make payouts in such great sums for injuries, but the Supreme Court of British Columbia often issues insane amounts to those that are 'injured' (when an individual decides to not take the payout offered by ICBC, and instead hires a lawyer)...



This was a decision that was made just a couple of days ago, for a 'sore back' and some other minor shit, in a relatively minor accident...



Now you know why we call it "Winning the ICBC Lottery."  And now you know one reason why we pay an insane amount for auto insurance here.  These 'lotto winnings' happen all the time here, and are not a rare occurrence...

...to replace my current Levi's that I wear at work, which needed replacing due to knees that are ripped open making me look like a rocker wannabe from 1989.



I'm certain the last pair of Levi's I bought were made in Mexico (I cut the tags out), but these are made in Bangladesh.  These are the 'real' Levi's, and not the cheaper 'Signature' versions you'll find at Wal Mart.



I guess Mexico was getting too expensive.  Time for the Donald Trump to make Levi jeans great again.



Good thing I wash my garments before wearing them, to remove the Bangladeshi sweatshop workers blood, sweat and tears!   :laugh:

I was always a BlackBerry user long after they fell out of favour, as I did prefer a physical keyboard.  However, as time went on I "went modern" and bought a Samsung Galaxy.



Here's my fucking problem...  I can understand maximizing screen size for maximum coverage, but when the god damned screen goes right to the very edge of the case/body, how the fuck is one supposed to hold the fucking thing?



Every fucking day I lose count as to how many apps/windows or whatever I've opened accidentally just by handling the fucking thing.  Even locking the fucking screen usually leads to some shit opening, as I have to handle the fucking phone to lock it.



This is one of the worst designs I've ever seen.  How could they design a phone, which is meant to be held in the fucking hand, with a touch screen right to the very edge where the fingers happen to go when handling it?



May look for a different design, or go back to BlackBerry if I have to.

Need to find a significant other, but am really getting discouraged around here!  Reminds me of the line from that Young MC tune...  "Lookin' for love in all the wrong places, No fine girls just ugly faces."



I don't think the problem is me.  I have all the shit together...  Finances, physique, full head of hair, etc.  No serious mental issues, not too weird, no strange medical issues, etc.  A fine specimen for my age...  Maybe not in the top 1%, but certainly in the top 10%, I can say with confidence.  Plus, no kids, which is a massive positive benefit.



I only look for something similar in return...  As much as I'd like a fresh young blonde just outta high school, obviously I know this isn't really workable nor proper in the long run.



There are very few women my age that have a decent physique, that have not popped out a bunch of kids, and are of sound mind mentally.  I don't want some uppity feminazi cunt either...  If I wanted a woman that acts like a god damned man, I may as well just visit my male bud in the next town over and drink beers with him.



I have conducted some visual studies lately around here, and I think I have discovered part of the problem...  There are so few decent women available relative to decent men available, that what is happening is that even very average women are easily able to find and enter into relationships with above average men.  This should not be, as it skews the outcomes for males in general.  It is obvious that a ratio of, say, 1 decent woman for every 10 decent men will totally fuck up the natural selection.



I guess that's the real question that needs to be asked...  Where the fuck did all the decent women disappear to?

Don't really know her that well (and don't care to, just like with you posters! :laugh: ), and have never met her, as she is actually a family friend of a 'real friend' from years ago.  You know how that shit goes on FaceShit...  The 'we are all friends BS, but haven't actually met even half of the people we're 'friends' with!  Have been 'friends' for quite a few years with this person, but never really communicating much at all with one another, which is fine also.



Anyhow, she is well into her 50's, has her shit together (or seemingly so), lives happily alone on a large acreage she owns, and has money...  Apparently financially secure, but I cannot confirm this, but have no reason to believe otherwise either from what I've seen.



Typical posts consist of her pets, and 'here's what's for dinner tonight' pics, which are actually always top notch, to be honest...  Basically your standard shit that you'd expect from the "Mimi's" of the online world.  She is essentially Mimi, to be quite honest, and that's fine.



Today I read a post that sort of 'changed things'...  Her Doctor is retiring, and she needs to find a new family Doctor ASAP.  Almost begging...  Why?  It seems she's fucking addicted to opioids!  Her current Doc is toning down his practice for retirement, and new Doctor's aren't prescribing what they once did, especially if they do not know you.



In her defense, she has undergone a few surgeries that would have required a higher level of pain management...  So I'm not sure what to make of the situation.  



For her to post this publicly, is no doubt due to desperation, and while I don't doubt she needs pain management, I also don't doubt that she's addicted to opiates.  Now one is in a tough bind...



If people get desperate, but have means, they'll simply find other vendors of the product that they need/desire fairly easily...

Decided to Google a childhood neighbour friend I had (he was a couple of years younger, but had a Nintendo and I didn't, so it worked)...  I'm 99% sure I found him, and he seems very active on social media.



Here's the problem...  The guy turned into a massive left-wing, beta cuck!  Holy shit!  Like ultra Antifa style nut!  I think he may even hate White people, even though he's whiter than white!



His parents were normal.  We grew up in the same neighbourhood.  What the hell went wrong with him?



I should let all his followers know that he used to shit his pants almost every day, and then hide his shitty underwear in a big stinking heap in his room...

I snore.  Always have, as long as I can tell.  Drove my Ex fucking nuts (she would often move to sleep on the couch).  I am not obese.  Quite slim, actually.  It's just a matter of the lower jaw 'falling back' just a tad too much.  Anyone that has taken a First Aid course like I have, knows that they teach to tilt head back and slightly raise lower jaw before mouth to mouth...  This is done for the sole reason of ensuring airway is nice and open.  I do believe they've since changed that though, and now only recommend chest compression, but that's off topic now.  I have no doubt that snoring is disruptive to my sleep patterns.



I also suffer from Bruxism, meaning I grind the fucking shit out of my teeth at night also (I live with stress even in my dreams :sad: ), which may be relevant to the issue, and to my hopeful solution.



I don't have an insanely massive jaw like Breakfall/Panty Pirate.  Maybe Evs was right, and it's a smaller Mild Fetal Alchohol Syndrome jaw, but she's probably not right since she's usually wrong most of the time anyhow.  Not entirely sure what the correlation between larger and smaller jaw is in relation to the propensity to snore.  It simply needs to be 'held forward' a few millimeters to prevent snoring.  They make anti-snore oral appliances, so recently I went to a 'sleep specialist' to see if I could simply get a referral to a Dentist that makes these oral appliances...



Here's what to expect at a sleep specialist here:  First off, they will automatically assume you have private insurance.  Canadian universal health plan covers essentially nothing dental related.  Some employers may offer their employees private plans that cover some dental-type work.  Usually unionized workplaces will.  I am self employed.  I made this clear to them right from the get-go, with the hopes that we could 'expedite' straight into getting an oral device made.



No.  Now they want to find the level of sleep apnea first.  They do this by sending you home with a small electronic device that you strap around your chest.  Connected to this device is an oxygen sensor that is exactly like the tube you'd wear in your nose at the hospital when receiving oxygen.  There's also a sensor that you clip onto your finger.  Understand that I don't sleep that great at the best of times, and here I'm all 'wired up' now before bed.  Some time before I actually went to sleep, I ripped all that shit off my body for comfort, so of course there was no usable data available.  They wanted me to try again another night...  I can't sleep with that shit on.  I just want an oral appliance made.  That's all I want.  I haven't returned their call yet.  Plus I'm busy with work, and don't have time to be driving back and forth with the electronic device that I'll just end up removing anyhow.



So I found this online.  London Drugs sells them.  Oddly enough these are only available via prescription for US customers, but they can be purchased in Canada without prescription, so I can have the thing delivered right to my door easily.  It's not exactly cheap at $179.99, but considering I was prepared to spend in the four digits getting a 'real one' made, I'm willing to try this out and see what happens!



The reason I brought up Bruxism earlier has a point...  I have a custom made night guard for that, and it was not uncommon for me to remove that at some point during the night, generally finding it somewhere on the bed.  This could be relevant here, as if I do the same with this device, $179.00 sitting on the bed is better than a $1,500.00 device sitting on the bed.  I will also find out how well this thing can stand up to violent grinding...  Will I destroy it quickly?  Only time will tell.



Will order this up tonight, and post results once I get a chance to do so.  The few reviews online seem mostly positive, so I'm pretty confident that I don't have that much to lose by trying it...
