It's looking like Joe would rather lose over the immigration issue than the Israel issue which tracks because the latter is far more important to him and the establishment's long-term goals.

It's far less messy pointing to being 'abandoned' by black and brown voters because of immigration than admitting they walked away because of a genocide perpetrated by our "aircraft carrier in the region" (-RFKJr).

The democrats believe they can win back hispanics and african-americans by tossing them a few crumbs down the road but the middle east is crucial to their plans for complete global hegemony; no merely domestic issues can be allowed to fuck with that.

Not even Ukraine is anywhere close to the importance of maintaining our military presence in the middle east which is why the Biden regime has gone around congress to ensure a flow of arms and munitions to Israel while they tell Zelensky to eat shit and make peace with Russia, if he can.

Someone should have warned Voldemort:
The only thing more dangerous than being an enemy of 'Murica is being one of 'Murica's friends.

The democrats don't care if Biden loses. Not really.
Does anyone truly think Joe 'My Brain Is A Sack Of Drunken Squirrels' Biden is literally running the country?

Presidents, and politicians generally, are merely lightning rods.
A puppet show.
Something to argue about while nothing fundamentally changes.

As Frank Zappa correctly observed:
"Government is the entertainment division of the military industrial complex."

Smart fella.

Oh... nevermind.
I thought the spoiler tags would do spoiler tag things.

Have a good one anyway.

Unlike christianity which totally didn't crib "the old testament" from the jewish torah.

I still have a few VHS tapes lying around and a converter to move them onto a DVD.

Mostly stuff like old home movies that were themselves captured on VHS from the original Super8 films which are almost all gone now cuz they're old as fuck and unusable anyway.

Quote from: Frood on December 22, 2023, 12:53:44 PMHe probably should have never done whatever he did pre-2023 that was compromising... because there's definitely something there in that category.

As a lawyer for the military he was posted at Gitmo in the thick of the "enhanced interrogation" operations.

That's all I really need to know about him.
I'd almost forgotten about Junk Yugo... he still "running for president" with the democrats?

Quote from: Brent on December 21, 2023, 07:19:27 PMWhat do you expect to happen next and when? Will the Supreme Court here the case quick like they did in 2000 with Biden and Gore and the Florida counting dispute?

I hesitate to make predictions because every time I think I've sussed the parameters of exactly how fucked up this country is now something happens to make me throw my hands up and adjust the markers outward again.

But if there's any sanity left at all this is what ought to happen:

The supreme court will agree to hear and expedite the case due to the serious and time-sensitive nature of the issue. It won't/shouldn't take them long to identify and highlight the Colorado decision's fatal flaws after which they will officially reverse the finding and clear the way for Don to participate fully in the Colorado primary.

Trump will be more popular and unbeatable than ever, democrats and their apologists will blame it on the "conservative court" and make a lot of noise about ways to "balance" the SC that have nothing to do with fixing anything but only packing the bench with more people "from their team", and independents will become even more disgusted with the whole Red/vs/Blue shitshow giving RFKJr and other non-duopoly candidates another polling bump.

Other states who are attempting or are considering their own Colorado-like shenanigans will likely drop those plans after a brief period of grasping for a different angle than the one that was just shot down.

Before long the whole litigating Donny off the ballot thing will fade into the background as other concerns take center stage again- those most likely being the continuing Palestine/Israel conflict (including escalating participation by other nations in the region), the increasingly obvious failure of the proxy war in Ukraine, and whatever China decides to do in response to the USA's provocations e.g. military entanglements with Taiwan.

Of course any or all of that could turn out to be absolute nonsense. The whole planet has lost what little mind it had left and almost nothing surprises me anymore.
Quote from: Biggie Smiles on December 21, 2023, 03:26:03 PM100 bucks says every low life scumbag leftist on the SCOTUS votes right alongside the democrat narrotive like the spineless pieces of subhuman garbage they are

I'm not saying that can't happen but it really shouldn't.
The Colorado judgement basically convicted Donny of sedition/insurrection/whatever without a trial in order to reach the decision it did and not even the holy relic of "states' rights" is big enough to cover their asses for that fuckup.

Unless things are even more broken than I presume them to be (and that's all kinds of broken) there's just no way to uphold the Colorado ruling and expect to retain a shred of legitimacy. Maybe the entire SC is beyond caring about legitimacy but if so they're hiding it fairly well so far.
