Cool story about BOC.  A few years ago they played at the local spring fest in the town next door to me. I remember thinking at the time that it was sad that a band that filled stadiums was reduced to playing a dinky fest on a tiny stage right next to the corn dog stand and the kiddie roller coaster.

Found out later that when their booking agent booked them for the Oswego Prairie Fest, they thought they were booking them for a charity gig in their hometown of Oswego, NY.  They didn't realize it was in Oswego, Illinois a thousand miles away. 

They fulfilled their contract, though, and put on a great show. 

They probably fired their booking agent.

As for the PM thing.  That is precisely why, as an Admin at Holy Valhalla, I never answered them.  When TV finally went tits up I had 3 or 4 thousand PMs in my inbox that I'd never read.  At first I would, but they were almost always someone whining about stupid shit going on on the board, so I'd either ignore it or send a note back saying "Man up, pussy."

After a while I stopped even looking at them.
