I am not saying it is wonderful and, yes, a 50 year old should long ago have established a career, but, at least they are trying.  I know a few old friends from high school and college who got divorced and have large alimony and child support payments to make.  So they needed second jobs.  One would hope it would be a better job than fast food but, as I said, at least they are moonlighting for extra work in addition to their regular career.

The coffee is good there too so that would be fun.  I am kind of surprised you guys are moving to Anton instead of Boquete but maybe you wanted fewer gringos around.  Right now the big cities are mess there with the riots and protests protests.
