Serious question here

Explain to me logically how you can have an ""oppressed"" population unjustly confined to an "open air prison" that is suffering at the hands of an apartheid state and there be any "innocent civilians" in the area being oppressed

no offense but I'm simply not buying that. In my mind the overwhelming majority, if not all, citizens in Gaza have a serious bone to pick with Israel. The reason is inconsequential to the point. That point being that everyone there is either a combatant, future combatant or in some way supportive of the combatant's cause.

Because, quite frankly, if what you say about Israel is true than anyone of capable means and age living in Gaza who does not support the effort against the jews is a coward. Unwilling to fight for their own freedom

Therefore, I continue to stand by my assertion there are no innocent civilians in Gaza.

Change my mind.

Think things true to their logical conclusion my friends.

I am first generation. I didn't learn to speak English until I started to school.

My old man could really tell the story when he had some vodka in him.

The people of the west bank are given the opportunity to vote in a new leader/government in a free democratic vote.

The three main parties are-

1) the palestiuan authority- keep the status quo.

2) Hamas- I wonder what they would do.

3) The mother teresa peace and love party- Who would work to make things better and have no wars/conflicts.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I would hope they would pick the last one.

Quote from: Moonie on January 05, 2024, 05:27:23 PMWe spoke before about this.  I understand why people think that.  All im saying is how would you like to live in a compound with never getting to leave your neighborhood.  Not knowing what it's like to see the outside world.  That breeds hate. It's occupation.  Nothing belongs to them.

Israel is known to have the best intelligence in the world and they can detect a person with Covid in a movie theater but they had no clue what was about to take place when that music festival was going on?  Come on you're a smart man.

The Palestinian people I know want peace.  Do you know that in Jenin refugee camps they will just raid the camps no warnings whatsoever.

Have you driven by Gaza? I have.  It's a compound.  It's looks like a prison from the outside.

I feel like since the Zionist government/movement is what caused as much hate. They hate Palestinians.  They want them out of the land and it's been the intention since the get go.

It's crazy to me you see it as one sided.
