Chopin Polonaise Op. 53 in A flat major played by Maurizio Pollini
Scarlatti, Domenico: Sonata,K.2,L.388 performed by Rintaro Amatsu
Hoedown by Aaron Copland (piano arrangement)
A dear aunt of mine who lived in Germany died so suddenly in October which crushed me to pieces. She was 71, quite happy especially since she had just welcomed the arrival of her first grandchild, a girl. She and her husband were vacationing in Tenerife when her life was unjustly interrupted. My family had a memorial for her across the seas so I could not attend. I requested that this music piece be played during the service and they did play it. My mom and other aunts liked it very much. The music evokes the essence of my dearly departed aunt, how passionately she lived and loved.
