Sorry I can't stick around, folks.  I just dropped in to say hi, didn't even make an account...so it's hard for me to reply to each of you.

But just to clarify, I'm Levon but not really Peachy.  The mis-identification is probably my fault... I've spent some time at BF channeling Peachy and some people are quite sure I AM him.

The only place Peachy has a forum presence is at the CBT board, which is just an Old Lefty knitting circle for the most part.  He's old as hell and his health ain't good, but he does wash the windows every week so his admirers can drop by and lick them.

As for me, I ain't had a forum presence in over ten years except for the last year or so at BF, trolling the morons there.  And there's a boat load of 'em, present company excepted of course.

My summer is gonna be too busy for forums so I won't be posting there or anywhere for the next several months.

Peace, out.

Please convey my sincere best wishes concerning his health.

Not  a fan...from Seattle's big 4 I'd put them in last place.  Alice, soundgarden, nirvana...

I met my wife here on an extended tourist visit.  One thing led to another I suppose.  I have always wanted to see Kazakhstan!  Central Asia in general is fascinating to me..

Oh very nice deport_liberals..

I spent a year in Kazakhstan when my husband's company sent him there..

I wish I had seen more of the country, but my children were so young and I can't speak their official languages.

I have had several kazakh students.  They all know Russian and there is a fair amount of vocabulary shared even between Kazakh and Turkish, though not as much as Turkmen or Kyrgyz.

You need Russian in Kazakhstan and I didn't learn it or Kazakh..

You're a teacher in Turkey?

Yes, history and English.

As in many of these cases, no mention of a father for this monster.  Another Adam Lanza...

I suspect he uses a bidet.

Bidets or hose attachments are essential to clean oneself appropriately. There's nothing worse than a person that smears away their shit with toilet paper, scrunched, folded or otherwise, and thinks that they're going to come up smelling like strawberries. I think the world could learn from the French and Eastern cultures. It's elementary hygiene aka potty 101.

 :beurk:

I pinch my grogans in the morning and hop in the shower.  It's the highlight of the day aside from poasting.

Poasting is my strongest link to America, although certain uncivil and oft belligerent poasters try to deny my claims to citizenship, which I possess both ius soli and ius sanguinis.
