Windows 10 is wonderful... for encouraging PC users to be as limited and gated as Mac users. I'm more interested to know what possessed Bill Gates to name his software company after his penis.

It might not be Joe the virgin. But, if it is, he has a hell of a lot of nerve posting at a place he tried to get shut down.

Hey geriatric virgin, the markets are up forty per cent from their lows in this pandemic. I told you to take advantage of historic buying opportunities. Now you will die broke and a virgin.

My husband continued to get matching RRSP payroll deductions to invest in conservative mutual funds throughout the stock market collapse....we're both glad he did.

The main problem with 7 is that it is no longer supported by Microsoft, unless you're a business that wants to pay for extended support...

Currently I'm using a 64 bit version of Windows 7 on a $60 Dell computer I purchased from someone on eBay & it works jes' fine. Nothin fancy. Just use it for email, printing out documents from the Web. After a slow start, it works rather flawlessly.

But I keep getting a message that my system is outta date which urges/pressures me to upgrade to Windows 10.

Question is - what for when the 'old' Windows does everything I need?

Is Windows 10 an essential upgrade? Am I missin' anything by skipping it?

What's yer take Windozean followers?
