Oh, I know. And I'm well aware of the many examples of damage globally that marxist doctrine has wrought. Venezuela, The USSR, South Africa... shit, you can see it happening in real time in places like Canada, Australia and a whopping chunk of the EU. All places with standing militaries I note, so the Prof's inference that Walz ought be given the rope he likely will use to hang us with is not something I'm inclined to entertain.

Those "strange policy decisions" are a red flag for me. You may argue that my standards are impossibly high, but they are at least consistent. I've left conservatives off my ballot for less egregious sins, I'm not going to break character and let that deviant fuckbag and his cum gargling running mate slide on this.

Speaking of which, I heard a rumour that Walz has a taste for semen too, particularly of the equine variety. The left does seem to have a knack for fielding those kinds of candidates, I mean look at Cenk Uyger! True or not, maybe Vance will ask for clarification on the matter in his upcoming debate with Walx, maybe inquire for further edification of the fat commie's ideas on "animal husbandry".

Fuckin weirdoes!

We'll have to agree to disagree then. Because I'm not prepared to trust someone who jumps into bed with the progressive left to legislate for tampon dispensers in male bathrooms and various other concessions for tomorrow's Dylan Mulvaneys.

I've seen what's getting shoehorned into today's military ranks.

By all means, if having military... "men"... of that dubious caliber commends itself to you as a force to be respected, then rest assured Tim Walz is doing his level best to manufacture more of them.

And the US military is more than happy to turn them loose in future conflicts against...

I disagree. DEI has no place in war in my opinion. If it comes to a choice between committed soldiers or drag queen sympathists, I know who I'd rather have defending my country.

Quote from: hard R on August 17, 2024, 10:33:06 PMThere is also the matter of "stolen valor". Walz has claimed on a number of occasions to have carried guns in war, which is misleading at best (being generous here) since he never actually saw combat. He also claimed a higher rank for himself than he was reputed to have had according to his own superiors. True, the service has a habit of promoting their retiring servicemen to give them a little boost in their pensions, but Walz isn't exactly andling for an old age handout.

I'm feeling less generous towards him than the lamestream media is. He wants boys to shove tampons up their buttholes, lying about his service career seems paltry next to that.

Quote from: Prof Emeritus at Fawk U on August 17, 2024, 01:44:43 PMI'll admit that it is hard for me to decide whether two decades of National Guard service versus a few years in the Marine Corps is more honorable.  I mean, yes, Walz left before his old unit got deployed, but its not like he had been given advance warning.  Vance did volunteer and knew what he was in for.  For me it is about how much time was put in so that is where my quandary lies.

Quote from: Thiel on August 16, 2024, 04:11:15 PMThey are responding to the positive media hype.

Outside Minnesota, most Americans don't know much if anything about governor Tim Walz.
Taking the word of individual polls is sketchy at the best of times due to shit like polling bias and selective sampling. Aggregate polls tend to give a clearer indication and there simply hasn't been enough time since the nomination shakeup to generate a meaningful one, or get a clear reflection of public sentiment.

And yeah, I fully expect that the Democrats are attempting to hide Obamala and Tampon Tim as best they can, if only to limit the amount of trouble their mouths are certain to get them into. Most of America had no idea of who John Kasich was either, so there was generally less reason for the average American voter to  question his merits as a nominee. His numbers were a lot higher than they might have otherwise been and I suspect the Democrats would be delighted for the boost a similar state of affairs would afford Obamala and Tampon Tim.
