Quote from: Thiel on Today at 01:50:42 PMThe House formally censured Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas on Thursday after he repeatedly interrupted President Donald Trump's congressional address Tuesday night.

The House eventually voted to adopt the resolution in a 224-198 vote. Ultimately, 10 Democrats joined 214 Republicans to pass the resolution censuring Green.

Those 10 Democrats will be called racists.

She's just another bobblehead with TDS saying stupid shit on a dying platform that's trying to find relevancy and failing utterly.
I hated Bush, so I hate her too.

I wish I could say I've not paid any attention to this dying platform for years. The truth is, I've had occasion to make two trips to the state capital to check in on an aged friend of mine this year so far. A recent stroke victim (his second) he spends much of his time in front of the idiot box being fed curated content from the likes of MSNBC. I wouldn't bother with it myself; I've multiple devices, both PC and android, up to 5 monitors, two of which might function as televisions, if only I would plug in an aerial or cable box.

Which I don't. All the major mainstream outlets available to me I am keenly aware are captured vassals and function only as propaganda vehicles. I am also keenly aware that attempting to convey this knowledge to my contemporaries who happen to be consumers of said propaganda will not free them from the yoke.

They are captured themselves, content for that security blanket. Sad, so very sad.

Quote from: Brent on March 05, 2025, 12:25:25 PMMSNBC host Nicolle Wallace made a tone-deaf statement about DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old child with brain cancer who was made an honorary member of the United States Secret Service during Trump's congressional address Tuesday night.

"I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer, but I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol against Donald Trump's supporters," Wallace said. "And if he does, I hope he isn't one of the six who loses his life to suicide. And I hope he isn't one who has to testify against the people who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy."

Leave it up to the left to somehow turn a sincere moment honoring a child cancer patient into a political talking point about January 6.

Nearly 70% of Americans in a CBS poll said they felt hopeful watching the speech, and over half said they felt proud.

Trump's congressional address looked especially good after four years of Jim Crow Joe fumbling, mmubling, and stumbling.

According to a CBS News/YouGov survey of 1,207 American adults who watched the speech, 76% said they approved of Trump's remarks. Only 23% said they disapproved.

A supermajority of respondents described Trump as "inspiring," "entertaining," and "presidential." While 62% characterized the president as "unifying" in his speech, a minority of respondents said that Trump was "divisive" a term that the liberal media decided to run with Tuesday night.

76% of respondents said they approved of Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas being removed by the sergeant at arms for repeated interruptions.

Sixty-three percent of respondents said that Trump spent a lot of time discussing issues they cared about, and 28% said he spent a little time on issues important to them.

I like how Trump took the opportunity last night to tease his biggest critics.

"We have ended weaponized government, where, as an example, a sitting president is allowed to viciously prosecute a political opponent, like me," Trump said. "How did that work out?"
