Climate alarmists are planning yet another summit under the auspices of the United Nations to discuss changing weather patterns, wealth redistribution schemes, and ways of regulating human behavior.

Instead of holding a virtual meeting, thereby eliminating the need for the November conference's over 50,000 participants to fly around the world, the 2025 UN Climate Change Conference will be held in Belém, Brazil — the gateway to the Amazon River.

To ensure that COP30's participants enjoy easy motorized transit in and out of the city, a four-lane highway is being cut through the protected Amazon forest, which absorbs one-fourth of the supposedly problematic carbon dioxide absorbed by all the land on Earth.

According to the BBC, eight miles of rainforest has already been cut down to make room for the partially built Avenida Liberdade highway. Former carbon-capture systems are being stacked high along the roadside.

The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act is a piece of legislation that passed the U.S. House in a 218-206 vote in January that would have prohibited federally funded school athletic programs from allowing men to participate in programs intended for women or girls, effectively codifying an executive order President Donald Trump issued last month.

Democrats led by Sen. Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) blocked the corresponding bill in the U.S. Senate on Monday, demonstrating both their apparent indifference to opportunistic cross-dressers' brutalization of female athletes and to the supermajority of Americans' desire to see athletes compete in sports teams that conform to their sex.

To overcome a Democratic filibuster of the legislation, 60 votes were needed. Every single Democratic senator voted "no," to the great satisfaction of non-straight activist groups like the so-called Human Rights Campaign, which characterized the vote as a "major victory."

The supermajority of Americans support keeping opportunistic cross-dressing men out of women's sports.

According to a survey conducted last month by the Pew Research Center, 66% of respondents support policies requiring transvestites to compete on teams that match their actual sex. A January New York Times/Ipsos poll found that 79% of Americans — 94% of Republicans, 67% of Democrats, and 64% of Independents or "something else" — said that male transvestites should not compete against women.

While the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act is presently dead in the water, Trump's Jan. 20 executive order titled "Defending women from gender ideology extremism and restoring biological truth to the federal government" and his Feb. 5 executive order titled "Keeping men out of women's sports" have already had an impact, prompting the NCAA, for instance, to revise its policy regarding male transvestites' participation in women's sports.

Jasmine Crockett represents everything wrong with Washington — lavish benefits for politicians, rising costs for working Americans.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) the other day said what every Democrat truly believes: Your money isn't yours. In a recent interview, the Texas Democrat dismissed the idea that Americans should keep $5,000 of their own earnings, scoffing, "Americans do not need $5,000." She went even farther, saying, "We are not in the business of giving out money."

That kind of detached arrogance could only come from a career politician — someone who has never had to budget, sacrifice, or work outside the D.C. bubble. But her words go beyond tone-deaf. They are a direct insult to millions of working-class families for whom $5,000 is not spare change. It can mean the difference between paying rent or facing eviction, keeping food on the table or going hungry, fixing a car or losing a job.

For years, Democrats have convinced voters that they are the party of the working class. But the mask is off. They serve elitist grifters, billionaire donors, and government insiders.

Democrats claim to fight for the working class, but their bank accounts tell a different story. Bill and Hillary Clinton entered the White House broke and left worth hundreds of millions. Barack Obama was drowning in student debt before politics; now, he's buying oceanfront mansions while warning about climate change. Kamala Harris, a career civil servant, is suddenly raking in millions. And then there's Nancy Pelosi, whose stock trades have outperformed Wall Street's top investors while she helps shape market-moving legislation.

These aren't public servants. They are parasitic profiteers. The more Americans struggle, the more power — and wealth — they gain.

This is why they despise the Department of Government Efficiency. For the first time, someone is exposing how taxpayer money vanishes into slush funds and fraudulent programs, enriching the very politicians who claim to serve the people. Donald Trump and Elon Musk's DOGE initiative isn't just about efficiency — it's about cutting off the endless cash flow that keeps these politicians wealthy. That's why they are in full meltdown mode.

Democrats have no interest in fixing this. They rely on a bloated, corrupt, and inefficient system that lets them funnel taxpayer money wherever they want — activist groups, left-wing nonprofits, billionaire donors, and even their own pockets.

Meanwhile, Americans foot the bill for their lavish lifestyles.
