It could have been worse for your son. Take another look at that last video I posted, that shuffle of hippies banging on their tambourines and chanting. There are parents and their children in there, presumably. Some of those children won't make it to adulthood, or if they do then chances are it will be in chemically and surgically mutilated form that they will carry for the rest of their lives. Statistically? Half of those kids will realise the mistake too late to do anything about it and live out their days in pain and suffering. While their parents beat themselves up over the results of doing what seemed right to them at the time.

I get it; you're a mother bereaved. Any mother that wants the best for their kids will lash out when their kids are denied it, externalising the ache they feel for themselves and their own. And finding yourself in environments like those you encountered at FC and BH is naturally going to get your hackles up - they weren't designed for the kinds of tea and sympathy compassion you needed to Heal. But I'm on your side. Mostly. Even when I find myself in disagreement with you. Having a kid is no hobby, it is an investment in the Future that takes precedent over all else. That's not to say you shouldn't have had other interests (like breeding dogs) which certainly could prove bonding and educational experiences for you both were they shared. Maybe there were interests of his that you showed interests in as well. It's part of what being a loving family is about... sharing.
And I know you did that. The photos of his smile proves it. His life had light in it. You could do a lot worse than to take his photo from your dresser, hold it in your hands and tell him you love him. Shed any tears you have, tell him your favourite memories of you and him and how much you miss him. Maybe he's listening somewhere, maybe not, but you can still keep that light shining for yourself.

I like their school and teachers much better here though. The curriculum is a lot more rigorous than anywhere in Canada. And any teacher that pushes a political agenda would face immediate discipline up to and including dismissal. Singaporean parents are paying for academic excellence not brainwashing.

The question for certain topics is at what age should these subjects be introduced. And it has to be teaching not indoctrinating.
For example, teaching is that the earth's temperatures have risen about one degree over the past century and man is partially responble. Indoctrination is we are in a climate crisis and politicians must act now to save us from imminent doom.
As for gender identity, that has no business in the classroom period. It is not a science and therefore not something that teachers should spend any time at all on. Anything they say will only be their opinion.

I say "i trust people....to be people". Which means i expect the worst out of just about everyone. Im very warm and kind. Until i have a valid reason not to be.
My oldest daughter told me that when her and her sister were little i made their world very small and she thanked me for that. She said thats why she had a great childhood. My girls had no idea i was struggling or any of that. I kept them out of adult problems. I was never so stressed it impacted my attitude or vibe around them.
And i didnt throw the world on thier shoulders.
I taught them good money habits. Good work ethic. And how to deal with other people and hold boundaries properly.
I wasnt consciously teaching them this. They watched me. And listened to me. Which is scary and awesome.
I have some great girls though. Im so proud of both of them.
And they help look out for their sister too and they have a bettef grasp of todays culture than i even do.
My oldest and her fiance both hate the Pride shit and that makes me happy too. The Pride events are vile. She doesnt let anyone make her feel like she HAS to go or support it just because shes gay. A lot of gay people have distanced from pride.
