I think the RCMP is spot on that there is going to be mass social upheaval in Canada as Ottawa continues to destroy the economic and social fabric that held Canada together.
Not even a change of government in Ottawa will make much difference anymore. It's too late for that now. The Canadian dream we immigrated to Canada for in the 90's is over and it'll never come back. I'm sooooooo fucking glad we got out when we did.

Only perhaps a handful like Norway, Switzerland & Singapore have stellar balance sheets with AAA credit ratings.
Maybe Canada still makes that list because of its abundance of natural resources and a relatively small population to support.
But as you point out Canada might not be as well managed as the top 3.
Australia is also AAA and its debt to gdp ratio 8s considerably lower.
