I think its going there regardless. We blew up "mostly peaceful Venezuelan fisherman" and Maduro is sabre rattling over it. If his dumb ass moves against us in any way shape or form, we're gonna WW3 the shit out of his forces. The Venezuelan Cartels are operating with the expressed consent of Maduro which puts his ass in a sling since they are a state sponsored organization because of that.

I disagree. I think going after the cartels directly is a no brainer. They blew that boat up in international waters so nobody can cry about Venezuelas sovereignty. Having said that, I'd have no problem if they carpet bombed all their drug fields.
