Carney announced a new $250 million a year program that will provide a small juice box for some school kids across Canada. He claims this annual expense that will rise every year will save Canadian families $800 a year.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in a strong social safety net, but this lunch scam is not about that. It is about creating a new federal bureaucracy with civil servants one hundred percent loyal to the Liberal party.

It will not save anybody in need money, the food will be sold on the black market, it will raise taxes and our deficit without helping anybody. Just like the scam federal dental program.

Sweetie, if you did not have me paying your bills you would be another statistic of the Liberal Party's assault on Canada.

At least Australia trades. The Liberals under both Trudeau and Carny have killed off our best exports that the world wants. This is at the same time that the Trump administration is inking LNG deals with Europe and the world.

Canada used to have a GDP amost on par with the US when the Conservatives were in power and Obama in the white house. Now we are about thirty five thousand a year less than the US. The gap is widening as we speak.

Quote from: . on October 12, 2025, 12:12:09 AMI see no reason to sugarcoat it. Australia and Canada have more in common than not, politically both Australia and New Zealand are practically tied at the hip in terms of politics. So I expect Australia's slide into mediocrity to match Canada's, if not outpace it.

The video in the OP may as well apply to Australia. If we are to presume the Great Australian Dream as owning your own home (or at least being one fifth on the way towards paying off a mortgage on one) then less than one in four zoomers qualify. That is down from millennials at the same age (two in three) and baby boomers at the same age (almost 4 in 5).  Meanwhile the percentage of Aussie zoomers either renting or still living at home with their parents is a whopping 64 percent.

Doing the math, you'll notice that leaves a around one in ten Aussie zoomers unaccounted for. The Australian Bureau of Statistics doesn't like to talk about them much. Gee, I wonder why.

I don't know a lot about Australia. I recall caskur saying the good life is over.

Oddly, Singapore would much rather do business with Canada instead of the US avatar_Shen Li Shen. While Canada signs new trade deals with Southeastern Asian countries, Trump punishes them with new tariffs. He doesn't like you folks because you're not White, Shen. And your fellow Singaporeans don't like him back. Like this other guy who's an economist:

But Carney & the country you like to bash so much doesnt care what color skin you have. Canada continues to forge stronger ties with Singapore while Trump pushes you away.

On top of Russia & China selling US bonds, Canada has joined them. So that helps explain why the US dollar continues to lose value & Gold is skyrocketing Shen.

Quote from: . on October 11, 2025, 11:20:27 PMWhile Australia does have its anti-progs, they are fewer in number than you think and largely disorganised. Most of the population trust the stories the media feeds them and remain largely ignorant of the true state of affairs for it.

For example, most believe Charlie Kirk to be a nazi, simply because someone with "authority" told them so and lacking the drive and critical thinking skills required to find out the truth for themselves, they simply accepted it. Another example might be the wholesale distaste for public figures like Donald Trump and Elon Musk, both of whom the average Aussie would argue the world would be better off were they assassinated. Their current government is happy for this sentiment and is doing nothing to disabuse the populace of their pejudice, the government is presently invested in arguing that people Caskur's age should have their internet freedom curtailed as they wish to curtail that of the under 18s cohort lest they too be "radicalized" by independent narratives on geopolitical affairs the government otherwise cannot control.

Oh, and those tariffs Trump threatened to force the world's nations to the negotiation table? Australia's government have all but dug their heels in against them, preferring instead to strike deals with China, given that a good many of the country's politicians have the near universal heaven sent excuse to fill their own pockets at the expense of the taxpayer on the back of "orangemanbad". Not unlike how you saw Trudeau doing when he was Canada's prime mincer.

And if you think for a moment that what passes for conservatism in Australia is waiting in the wings to swoop in and save the day, think again; in the most recent election the Liberal/National coalition spent more time arguing that they weren't Donald Trump than anything and had their arses handed to them at the ballot box for it. Australia as an aggregate preferred the progtarded bullshit of Labour and the Greens instead. Expect another four years of Drag Queen Story Hour promoting the chopping off of kiddies weiners over in that neck of the woods.

tl;dr: Australia is fucked beyond redemption. Pauline Hanson is going to have to claw her way out from under near-Trumpian levels of bad press if that is to change.
