Quote from: JOE on November 02, 2025, 08:40:00 AMYa'll hate Carney so much, but in reality he's taken many of Pierre Poilievres ideas & is implementing many of his policies. Ie -

Carney is taking the ax to the civil service and P would have done the same.

Also Carney s nation building projects are somewhat similar to what PP would have done. And increased defense spending too.

All it seems we got is a mini Tory or a PP lite in Carney.

But ya'll hate Carney cuz he's gotta red label instead s blue.

If ya'll want someone who's pushing much PPs ideas and the Tory agenda then Carney is yer man avatar_Brent Brent, hey avatar_Herman Herm?
Pussycat remember I explained to you after we had sex last night that Mr. Carney is using accounting tricks to fool voters. He is keeping two sets of books. One to show he is trying to be frugal and another full of more red ink than any prime minister before him.

It is in that dubious second set of books where Mr Carney's spending shenanigans can be found. Hundreds of billions of dollars Canada cannot afford on projects the world does not want, Canada does not need and awarded to Brookfield.

Mr. Pollivere was going to repeal all of Mr. Carney's anti development laws that prevent Canada from getting private investment  and finding new markets for her most valuable exports creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs, government revenue and no unnecessary spending.

Sweetie, understand now how Mr. Carney's plan for new debt and crony projects are the opposite of Mr. Pollivere's plan or do we need to jump in the sack again?

There will be no jobs left in Canada by the time Carney is finished with us and moves back to England.

Up to 130 jobs will be lost as furniture manufacturer Holsag Canada will shutter its facility in Lindsay, Ont., in March 2026.

Parent company Mity Inc., based in Orem, Utah, announced earlier this month that the operations in the heart of Kawartha Lakes will be consolidated with its U.S. facilities.

Trump keeps racking up trade wins while Carney focuses on restricting privacy, speech and digital freedoms with Bills C-2, C-8 and C-9.

From the Wall Street Journal

President Trump said the U.S. and South Korea are close to completing a trade pact, a surprise breakthrough following months of contentious talks over $350 billion in investments Seoul has pledged to America.

The apparent progress came when Trump met South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Wednesday. They had a roughly 90-minute exchange on the sidelines of a regional economic forum hosted in this South Korean city, and immediately after Lee gifted Trump a golden crown and awarded the president the country's highest state honor.

Trump, in brief postmeeting remarks, called the exchange with Lee "tremendous."

A deal hands Trump—on his first Asian tour in his second term—more momentum following pacts with a handful of Southeast Asian nations announced last weekend. During Trump's visit to Japan earlier this week, Washington and Tokyo published a list of projects under consideration for Japanese investment. The list included power generation projects, battery factories and a host of other investment opportunities that the two governments said had a value of around $490 billion.

While Trump is signing new trade deals and attracting trillions of dollars in new investments and new jobs Conman Carney is in Asia trying to look like he gives a shit about Canadians.

His meetings go something like this.
PM Carney when will you build a dual pipeline to the Northern Coast of BC so we can buy more of your crude?
Carney- never but we want to sign a global C02 reduction treaty.

Of course Conman Carney want a global carbon tax. Trump fought against it on behalf of working folks all over the world. Trump won again. Conman lost again. :drunk2:

Trump Team Blocks U.N. Global Carbon Tax in Stunning Diplomatic Showdown

In what insiders are calling the biggest U.S. pushback against the United Nations since the Cold War, President Trump's team has successfully stopped the U.N.'s global carbon tax — a sweeping "Net Zero" scheme that critics slammed as "taxation without representation."
The tax, crafted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a U.N. body based in London, would have charged shipowners up to $380 per metric ton of carbon emissions, creating an estimated $10–12 billion annual fund controlled by U.N. bureaucrats. The measure was set to pass this week — until Trump intervened.

Even with running two sets of books, Conman Carney will run deficits bigger than Justine did.
