Quote from: Brent on Today at 12:08:38 PMThat has to be a mistake. I know Social Security pays more than Canada Pension Plan but they do not pay sixty six grand a year. I think maybe 2,200 a month would be the high end.
It's technically true but will it actually happen? doubtful

I've been paying the highest level of social security tax for nearly 30 years. So taking a conservative estimate we'll just baseline the yearly total at 7,000 as it's steadily risen to 9K over that 30 year time frame

that's 210,000.00 I've paid in and an equal amount paid in by past and present employers.

By the time I retire which is not for at least 15 more years that will be close to a million paid in.

even at the 60,000+ a year I'll be lucky if I get a third of that back. So even those numbers it's still a scam

No, I just looked it up and I'll get $2200/month if I retire early, at 63. $2000/month at 62. If I wait till 67, it goes up to $4XXX. I didnt pay attention to the exact number cause no fukin way am I waiting that long. Biggie has paid in more than me for more years for me. Thats likely why his number is higher.

but by then this ponzi scheme will have long since collapsed

So I guess I'm lucky I sit at a computer all day and totally love what I do cause I'll be working late into my elder years.
Holy fuck. The max for CPP is about $1300 CDN/month. Almost nobody gets that. The national pension plan in Singapore(Central Provident Fund) is a lot more generous.

Quote from: Shen Li on January 26, 2026, 10:53:48 PMI paid the max for CPP in Canada and it was less than that. CPP doesn't  pay anything tho. Most people get around $800/month after paying into it for 40+ years.

Attorney General Pam Bondi demanded that Minnesota leaders share detailed records on the state's federally funded welfare programs, repeal its sanctuary policies, and grant access to voter rolls. The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party responded with a sharp, dismissive rejection.

Press secretary Karoline Leavitt clarified Homan's role in Minnesota on social media shortly after the post from Trump: "Tom Homan will be managing ICE Operations on the ground in Minnesota to continue arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens. In addition, Tom will coordinate with those leading investigations into the massive, widespread fraud that has resulted in billions of taxpayer dollars being stolen from law-abiding citizens in Minnesota."

Trump added that "a major investigation is going on with respect to the massive 20 Billion Dollar, Plus, Welfare Fraud that has taken place in Minnesota."

These are the cockroaches liberals are defending

"They are our neighbors"

No you dumb fuck. They are opportunistic parasites.  They are as much your friendly neighbor as a blood sucking leech

What is wrong with these people
