Conman Carney said he's looking at how the government can "cushion the blow" of high gas prices. If the globalist prick was serious he would cut his gas taxes.

Ottawa charges an industrial carbon tax on refineries and that makes gas more expensive.

Ottawa charges a hidden carbon tax in fuel regulations that costs about seven cents per litre of gas.

Ottawa charges a fuel tax that costs 10 cents per litre of gas.

Ottawa even adds its sales tax on top of those other fuel taxes.

Official Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre called on Carney to cut gas taxes. Politicians in Australia, Italy, Spain, Ireland and Portugal cut gas taxes to provide their citizens with relief.

$100 oil and the policy gap just got real.
Australia cuts fuel taxes in half.
Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal cut fuel taxes.
They move to lower costs fast.
Canada?
Raised the industrial carbon price another 16%.
Canada is an energy producer. At $100 oil, government revenues rise with it. There is room to lower costs at home... not raise them.
Energy costs don't stay in energy...
They flow into food, housing, shipping everything.
Fix it:
Pause carbon price increases and get rid of the carbon tax and the bureaucracy around it.
Cut fuel taxes temporarily.
Lower costs at the source and the pressure comes off everywhere.

Liberal fuel taxes are FORCING Canadians to pay almost 20 percent more for gas than in the United States.

Costing families up to a WHOPPING $1,218 per year!

But it doesn't stop at the pump. These taxes drive up the cost of EVERYTHING, from groceries, housing and transportation right across the country.

And even now, as Canadians face rising affordability pressures, the Liberal government continues to raise and rebrand FAILED carbon taxes.

Bars and restaurants are barely making ends meet before this tax increase.

Most of Canada's peer countries are suspending existing fuel taxes. The Carney government is raising taxes while global inflation is rising.

Whereas Mark Carney and this Liberal government have driven food prices up by 40% since taking power.

Whereas the Liberal industrial carbon tax on fertilizer and farm equipment makes producing food more expensive for everyone who buys it.

Whereas the Liberal plastics ban makes packaging food more expensive and causes food to spoil faster, meaning higher grocery prices and more food wasted.

Whereas the second hidden Liberal carbon tax on gas and diesel makes food transportation more expensive.

And whereas Mark Carney's inflation tax, resulting from higher deficits and money printing, has pushed food inflation to the highest in the G7.

Therefore be it resolved that we the undersigned call on Mark Carney and the Liberal government to stop taxing groceries and bring affordable food to all Canadians.
