I've only gone to 2 performances in my life, but I was picky  and both were dinner club in-the round



One was BB King solo and the other was Roy solo going for 3 hours non stop comedy, guitar, voice ..... finishing off the show with 8 minutes of Malaguena



When he finished there there was about 20 seconds of dead silence before applauding - everyone in the place was stunned / speechless / motionless
