Cuts to the civil service puts money back into the real economy creating jobs.

Joe, when are you moving to my province to escape NDP taxes and job killing regs? Your premier is killing the middle class with increased taxes and regulations. Ford will lower fuel taxes and green energy scams making this province the most sensible place in Canada to invest. Like all Alberta and BC economic refugees swarming my province, Ontario will have a job for you.

But like Mike Babcock said about turning around the hapless Toronto Maple Leafs...it'll get worse before it gets better.

While I agree that Wynne drove Ontario into the ground, Ford was dealt a hand such now he will be forced to cut! Cut! Cut! And still cut! There'll be a lotta jobs on the chopping block.

And it wont be goid for BC because now a lot of those economic refugees will move out here pushing up our unemployment rate & in turn making our job market tighter.

At least in the short term nobody wins.

Quote from: "seoulbro"The Ontario Liberal Party was humiliated by voters going from a majority government to a small handful of seats. This happened because they pursued the same failed policies as the Alberta NDP:

Endless deficits/massive piling on of debt,

Credit downgrades/spending more money on debt repayment than hospitals and roads

Higher taxes,

Job killing regulations,

Unaffordable power prices, and

An ideological approach to the school system.

Ontario lost 400,000 full time manufacturing jobs under the Grits mismanagement. The NDP wanted to double down on Wynn's failed policies that turned the economic engine of Canada into a have not province. Thankfully Ontarians said no. They are tired of seeing their best and brightest move to other provinces seeking opportunity. They are tired of forcing families to decide between heating/power and food. They are tired of exporting jobs to neighbouring states.

To Albertans and British Columbians, welcome to Ontario.

Get ready for droves of laid off resource workers from BC and Alberta moving to Ontario

Ford will take out the axe to the expensive green bullshit, high taxes and regulations that caused so many Ontarians to lose their jobs. Ontario will need labour when their economy takes off. The pain here is great and may one day,set the stage for a fiscally conservative government here and in Alberta within 3 years.
