Quote from: "cc"That's a lot of money for a piece of .... never mind  .. I didn't say anything

Reminds me of a true story where a champion poodle had the end of his tail broken off by a US airlines baggage accident .. I suppose the crate  moved against another crate

So, owner sued for $50,000

And this is true - I saw the video - Local TV announcer telling the story finished it with the comment:

"That's a lot of money for a piece of tail" ...... long pregnant silence ... then some giggles ... finally loud laughter as people could not stop themselves

Quote from: "cc"A ten foot long inflatable colon was 'stolen' from a car parked outside a cancer centre at a hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, US. It was being used to spread awareness.

The colon, valued at $4,000 – just over £5,200 – was pinched from a pick-up truck in the hospital's car park. The giant colon was being used at The University of Kansas Cancer Centre for a campaign called 'Get Your Rear in Gear'.

I don't mean to ruin the thread, but $4000 USD = 3061.22 GBP
