Quote from: "Odinson"Do englishmen call regular pants "britches" or "breeches"?

Breeches but it's an old fashioned word which doesn't really get used nowadays.

Ok..

And they use that term when referring to regular pants? Jeans?

In the movies, the brits sometimes speak of their jeans as "breeches"..

But according to google, "breeches" are a specific type of pants.

Usually I just say pants, but britches is the other term down here lol. "Put'cha britches on!"

Speaking of which, I used a word the other day, and was asked to repeat it lol. I said "that'n'll" as in "That'n'll need work!". Its basically "That one will" lol.
