Labs can easily create new viruses of this nature, but if China wanted to spread it into the West, all they had to do was put one infected individual onto any one of the planes that fly thousands and thousands of Chinese into Western nations every single day. Have the guy walk around New York for a couple of weeks, and then he can fly back to China. Nobody would even know what's up.
Wouldn't make sense to release it into ones own backyard, when it could be directly spread to the West with the easiest of ease.

No, the Chinese government may not have intended to release it like this, I agree, but they don't exactly enjoy a great reputation for caring about the individual. They knew about this outbreak for weeks before they announced it, preferred instead to keep a lid on it "because economy". Especially after the tariff wars of last year. It's not the first time some noxious bug got out into the population mind you, previously they got away with it because the viral outbreaks burned out before they could do any really extensive damage. This time however...
Now it's damage control time, and yes - the Chinese government is pointing the fingers outward instead of in. Who within their borders is going to challenge them? You'd be just as likely to earn a serious downgrade to your social credit score as a lethal lead injection if you tried. And there'll be plenty of soycialist progtards yammering in support of them, especially in the the laughably termed "united" states where corporate ideals towards international trade take precedent over the individual, particularly when it comes to the robber barons of Sillycunt Valley... and in an election year no less. What better excuse to wage FUD against Orangemanbad when their preferred groovyguy is some demented nonce who can barely read his lines off a teleprompter through the haze of aneurysms erupting in his own eyeballs while factions in his party's voting base are muttering about burning cities to the ground when he's coronated?
Except that in times of crisis people are disposed to going with the tried and trusted option. The Chinese government virus can just as easily work in Trump's favour as against him, especially if he thinks to point out just how quicker he might have acted if certain pains in the ass weren't busily trying to impeach him over a bunch of utter malarkey while the Pinko Pox was gaining traction. With Biden set to be coronated as the democratic nominee, Trump won't have to work too hard to ridicule and otherwise run rings about him. Biden is rapidly losing whatever marbles he had left and at this point is about as lost in the weeds as Reagan was at the end of his second term, is barely able to finish sentances on a good day and will be lucky if his eyeballs don't explode and start pissing blood over the podium between now and October. The alphabet news media can rail all they like about Trump being responsible for everything salty in their world, you and I need only draw direct comparisons between the turnout at any Trump rally and a Biden one to get a real feel for what the voting public thinks. The difference will only become even more marked when they coronate the girlie groping Biden at the DNC convention, pissing the Bernie fans off yet again and causing a large number of them to say "fuck this shit" and either stump for Trump, if they don't drop out of the political process entirely.
Dems putting the "dem" in "dementia". They didn't learn anything from their 2016 loss, they will lose again in 2020. Short of Trump dropping dead of a heart attack there is virtually no other outcome you can reasonably expect.
As for Winnie the flu, meh. So they reckon a few million are set to die from it? I say it's the price we as a planet get to pay for allowing our leaders the free rein to license such research, especially when they've proven time and time again they are perfectly okay with cutting corners with safety concerns. And that, my friend, is not a problem exclusively monopolised by the Chinese government.
Matter of fact, it happens a lot closer to home than you'd like to admit.

I talked about this with family and relatives in Taiwan.....they knew even before it became a pandemic what China was up to..
Peking won't blink sacrificing hundreds of thousands of people and temporarily destroying Western economies to get what they want, and they don't want a nationalist in the white house..
China is a despicable country.
I'm Chinese, and I admit Beijing always blames and frames the West and Japan. However, Donald Trump getting blamed for the global coronavirus shutdown. One of only two Western leaders to be proactive. I don't get it. White people are so fucking stupid.

Still...even if he did things completely right & according to medical guidelines, there would have still been a pandemic & people around the world & in the USA would have died.
Best case scenario might have been 25% fewer deaths, but many people still would have gotten sick & died - everywhere. And there was no way of forseeing this or preventing the pandemic because it was a silent previously unknown killer.
